My New 85mm f/1.8D lens

August 1, 2010 | Filed under Gadgets | 35 views

Woohoo, this is my new gadget. I’m so excited to use it next week for my outdoor portrait shoot-out. I think this is my first good buy. The first of which I know where I will use it.

I learned from the Gurus of Imagine Nations that an 85mm is the best lens for portraits. I bought it yesterday at Pixel Pro Megamall. I thought of buying the f/1.4 but it’s to expensive for me so I went to f/1.8D which is still a good buy.

I’m going to the three falls of Rizal today to survey the place. Next week, I’m planning a Dyosa Theme portraits in one these falls.

So if you want to avoid the traffic in EDSA or if you’re coming from Katipunan, UP or QC, then take this route.

Edi and I were in Baguio last year so this is our second visit, together with Inal and his husband Cyrus. Since we have company, we decided to be their tourist guide and acted as tourist also.
