Is it our obligations?

I finished college with the help of my Parents. They provided my education. They made me from what I am today. Thanks to them.

My mom died a year before I graduated. When I got my first job, I took care of my younger sister’s education. I gave her all the things she needed. I also gave money to some of my sister’s tuition fees when my father needed support. Read More »

Celtics is one win away from championship

June 17, 2008 | Filed under Entertainment | 48 views

The Lakers will visit Boston for the Game 6 of the NBA Finals, and now Celtics has a chance to finish the series in their home court, with the series led by Boston Celtics 3-2. I don’t think the Lakers can win another game in Boston. They’re not playing good basketball since the finals begun. Kobe Bryant hasn’t had a great game except for the game 3 which they won. But that win was not a good win for them because KB24 was the only one shooting the ball. He had only 1 assist which shows the lack of team play. Their team play was not smooth, they couldn’t run their plays the whole game. It’s amazing how the Boston Celtics can stop the MVP of the league with their collapsing defense. That’s how a team can win the NBA Finals. And that’s how The Boston will win in Game 6 to finish the series.

Let Us Help Yuki Belialba

June 14, 2008 | Filed under Random Ramblings | 65 views

The 6-month old baby of my officemate’s old friend Mira Belialba (BASICOM) is in dire need of financial assistance. Baby Yuki was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, and she needs to undergo surgery.

Here’s the email message from her dad, Mio:

Hi Everyone,

I would like to seek your assistance to help us raise the needed fund to give my 6-month daughter her needed liver transplant.

Our doctor has released her final diagnosis yesterday and she said that the only way for a long time survival of my baby from her illness (Biliary Atresia) is for her undergo surgery.

According to her, there is no facilities and experience here in the country for such operation so she recommend that we do it in Taiwan which will cost us an estimate of 4M-6M pesos with my wife as her donor.

I’m begging for your good heart to help me, my wife and our family survive this time of trial.

God Bless,
Ramiro “Mio” Belialba
