Sheree, Patrick, Urico and Mark’s Hair

Despite my hectic schedule (naks!), I still found time for gimiks last Saturday at Embassy the Fort and Libis. It was a tiring but fun night.

Mark, Patrick and I first went to the Fort at Embassy bar to see a friend, who we haven’t seen for a long time. Sheree Ho, yup that’s her name, a certified party goer. She’s fun to be with and really cool.

Me looking like a bishop

I was browsing my site when I saw a picture in “My Photos” sidebar where I looked like a bishop. Is this a sign na magpapari na lang ako? (hwag naman po, pwede ba madre na lang? hehe..)

What’s keeping me busy???

March 28, 2009 | Filed under Random Ramblings, Web | 152 views

For the past two weeks, I’ve been busy in the office studying Magnolia (Java-based CMS). While the admin UI is impressive with all it’s Ajax goodies, creating a new template is cumbersome and not designer-friendly at all. But I’m still positive I can learn the templating. There’s just some issue on the installed software so I can’t fully figure it out. Next week, I’ll have all the help I can get with Kat and Carlos working at night.

At home, I’m busy also on designing a layout for some prospect clients. I’m glad, we’re able to close one deal. I’m hoping to get Marc Nelson also as my client. I’ve proposed two layouts, hope to get some feedback soon. I created Paula Taylor’s fan site so adding Marc would be really great.

I’m also updating the url of Paula’s fan club site. I thought changing the url will be easy but there are bunch of contents that need updating. The good thing here, I was able to figure out mySql. I learned to update the table using it’s UI. The only problem now is to move all the images to the new directory so the images on the site will show up. And change all the url on the content manually.

Next week, I think I’ll be more busy since I’ll start working with the new project. I’m glad I’m busy, having more project means more money. (recession ba kamo, ano yun?! hehe) Smile
