Calauit Experience

It took us 3 hours of bumpy ride, from Coron to Calauit. The Wildlife Sanctuary was in isolated island so we transfered via boat.
This is the entrance footbridge to the Wildlife Sanctuary.

The moment I entered the Sanctuary, it felt like we’re in a different country. It’s like I experience a slice of Africa in the Philippines.

I loved all the trees that I saw. Trees that were shaped by the long and beautiful giraffes.

We saw four beautiful giraffes who never stop following us.

The experience of feeding them was fun. You can only feed them but you can’t touch them. Or stand at the back of them if you don’t wanna get kick. It’s there defense instinct so you better watch where you’re going.

Here’s my favorite, the “Bear Cat”. I love “his” orange eyes and brown/navy blue fur. Yes, he’s a male and all alone. They said the female bear cat was eaten by a large snake.

There are zebras and deers everywhere.

Here, I forgot what animal this is. But to describe it, it has a nail like fur.

There are also turtles, snakes, alligators, etc.

And also, I love this camouflage tree.
