Honda Bay Tour (Puerto Princesa)

Honda Bay is a group of small islands lined with fine white sand beaches. Our trip to Honda Bay was an all-day trip and actually an island hopping tour. We toured three islands and these are Pandan Island, Snake Island and Starfish Island. We’re supposed to visit Pambato Coral Reef but the waves and sudden weather change didn’t allowed us. But it’s still fun! 
Anyway, we left the hotel around 8am for the Honda Bay tour. It took us 30 minutes ride going to Honda Bay Port. We brought a snorkeling gear, change clothes and underwater camera.

Pandan Island
Pandan Island was our first stop. I liked Pandan Beach the best because of the clear water, fishes and coral reefs. The sand was a smooth, powdery light brown in color. There were also cottages nearby and it was very relaxing. We had our lunch there.

After lunch, we went to Snake Island. They said it was the most beautiful island in Honda Bay but for me, what I love there was the fish. And the water was much more clearer than Pandan Island. I did not bother to wear a life-vest since I love to dive and get near the fishes. It’s amazing how close the fish to the shore.

Our last stop was Starfish Island. We didn’t do anything much here but I like the photo below. I was able to practice shooting in low light.

Overall, this activity was fun and a must do when you visit Puerto Princesa.

love the pix dude…too bad I wasnt able to join and see the beautiful scenery in Puerto Princesa…buntunghinga na lang ako HAaaaaaaaaay…
