February 19, I woke up around 4:30 PM, excited for the Banaue-Sagada-Baguio tour. I texted Mark that we’ll be leaving 7:00 PM sharp. It was 6:45 PM when I called Mark if he’s ready but he said he still hasn’t prepared his stuff so I waited furiously. I got more angry when we left the village around 7:45 PM and forgot the waiver. He went home again to get the waiver so we’re able to leave around 8:00 PM. Grrhh…

I texted Cha, my officemate, to tell to the coordinator to wait for us because we wont make it in time, she replied furiously (I know the feeling). We’re afraid of how they will react to us. But thanked God, they didn’t reacted the way we expected them.

Anyway, so we went on with the tour. We were on a Van with a group of callcenters from ICT. We were out numbered (nakaka-OP!) but thanked God they’re friendly.

Oh I’m so excited for the February to come. Me, my officemates and some of my friends are planning to take a very cheap tour to Sagada.

The tour will be 3 days and 2 nights for only Php 3,500 (that’s really cheap!).

I’m excited also to meet new friends since there are 24 slots for the tour, so we really have to be on the reserved list as early as possible.

My Lasik Surgery Experience

December 8, 2008 | Filed under Adventure, Random Ramblings | 86 views

I thought of having this procedure for a long time. It took me years to decide whether to have it or not. But finally, I made up my mind.

Last week I decided to undergo an initial evaluation to determine if I’m a good candidate for the lasik surgery. I’m very nervous at that time because I’m scared I won’t be a good candidate since my eyes are so sensitive that I had 3 sore eyes in 9 months.

It was Saturday when I had the evaluation. They made a thorough eye exam for 2 hours. They briefed me of the risks and benefits of the surgery; What to expect before, during and after the surgery. I was able to watch also how the surgery will be done. My last test was done by Dr. Enrique Enriquez. After minutes of checking, Dr. Enriquez asked me when will I want to do it. I got frozen, asked him, “You mean I’m a good candidate?” He said yes! It’s like music to my ears. WooHoo! Smile

I actually want it done at that day but they said I have to schedule it in another day. So I scheduled it on Monday. I got so excited that I forgot I still have work and that I needed to file a leave of absence for a week.

After 2 days of waiting, it was time for the surgery. I asked my friend to accompany me since I cannot drive after the surgery. Read More »

Girl and job hunting at the same time

August 7, 2008 | Filed under Adventure, Random Ramblings | 91 views

It’s been weeks since I visited my blog. I’ve been kinda busy these past weeks for gimiks, business and interviews.

Last two weeks ago, I was in Fiamma bar for some birthday celebration of a friend. That bar in Jupiter St., Makati was really good. And nice people. You’ll see beautiful people everywhere. And lots of foreigners. I met Sher’s friends and they’re all awesome. Sher was my booth partner in Tiendesitas last December 2007. Read More »
