The So-called LIFE

I thought of having this procedure for a long time. It took me years to decide whether to have it or not. But finally, I made up my mind.

Last week I decided to undergo an initial evaluation to determine if I’m a good candidate for the lasik surgery. I’m very nervous at that time because I’m scared I won’t be a good candidate since my eyes are so sensitive that I had 3 sore eyes in 9 months.

It was Saturday when I had the evaluation. They made a thorough eye exam for 2 hours. They briefed me of the risks and benefits of the surgery; What to expect before, during and after the surgery. I was able to watch also how the surgery will be done. My last test was done by Dr. Enrique Enriquez. After minutes of checking, Dr. Enriquez asked me when will I want to do it. I got frozen, asked him, “You mean I’m a good candidate?” He said yes! It’s like music to my ears. WooHoo!

I actually want it done at that day but they said I have to schedule it in another day. So I scheduled it on Monday. I got so excited that I forgot I still have work and that I needed to file a leave of absence for a week.

This has been a tiring week. I need a break. Imagine, seven days of sleepless nights(whew!). Not that I can’t sleep, it’s just that I don’t have time for that(ganon?!). Damnnn…

Actually, It’s almost a month now that I don’t get much sleep due to my
grrrhh… nevermind.

I’m thankful, I’m going to have a normal life soon. My shop opened again last Thursday and my project will end this week(I hope!).

I’m excited this December,’coz I planned to undergo lasik surgery to fix my eyes. I just hope to be a good candidate for the surgery. My eyes are really sensitive that I’m scared I might not pass the test.

But I’m hopeful, I’ve waited 2 years for this to come. I took care of my eyes by not wearing contact lenses for 3 years now. So maybe, the possibility of passing the requirements is really high for me.

I love listening to the radio every morning particularly the “Morning Rush” of Chico and Delamar. Just listening to them makes my day happy. But I’m wondering why they call their news as “News at 17“?

For a week now, I’ve been listening to them, waiting for the news. As expected, they’re having their news every 17th minutes of the hour. That’s one reason but why at 17?

Hmm.. Is it because their station is located at the 17th floor of Strata 2000 Building? Or maybe they rule the radio station for 17 days/months? Anyone, help me!!!

WHATEVER?!

It’s nice to be back. I’ve been busy for a month now. So many things happened. Some are bad and some are really good.

My shop is temporarily close right now, due to some issues with my partner. I felt so bad because my life revolves around it for the past 3 years. Now I’m opening again but this time as a solo businessman. Wish me luck!

The good thing that happened, we are now living again in our old house which we almost lost to Sta.Lucia. Now, I’m buying it and just waiting for the contract to sign. Waahh, I’ll be paying it for 5 years.

And another good thing, I’m happy to get a new client. And this is what’s keeping me busy right now. I’m excited to finish Paula Taylor’s Fan Site. WooHoo!
