Idle Time

December 24, 2008 | Filed under Design | 163 views

I like sitting around. Watching television, DVD or whatever; Or playing PSP, playstation and Desktop games; And most of the time, doing nothing. I love doing these stuff especially now that I”m free(FREE from work).

That is why I’m enjoying each day. I still have 12 days to go to be “Juan tamad”. Woohoo!

Right now, I’m designing a new layout for my site. It is what’s really keeping me busy. I’m almost done and really happy with the result. It took me days to come up with the new design.

Sometimes, creating layout for yourself is hard. Because you have so many things in mind that you want to do. Things that’s hard to put together. It’s good to have so many ideas because you already know what you want but too much can really be difficult to put together. It’s what happening to me.

But thanked God, I’m done with the layout. I just need this to convert to web format (xhtml/css). Oh well, I still have 12 days to go to do this. I’m excited to start on it right now but I can’t. Because I’ll be celebrating Christmas today. Yup, I’ll be drunk again.

Merry Christmas! Smile

Art and lifestyle Future Updates

December 12, 2008 | Filed under Design, Web | 138 views

I’m starting to design the new look of my site. Art & Lifestyle Designs will have new concepts. The site will be focusing more on creating Web themes such as wordpress themes, friendster, multiply, etc. The good thing here, it’s FREE.

Yup, you can use the themes I’ll create for FREE.

The site will post news, tutorials and updates on Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, CSS, XHTML and other web stuff.

The site will also display “Photos” taken by yours truly (ahem). I’m excited on this one since I’m going to buy my first DSLR camera soon (wooHoo!). Smile

And also, I’m going to update the look of my personal blog (The so-called LIFE) soon. Ofcourse, the old theme will be in included on the FREE themes which you can use. Maybe, I’ll just update the banner (so you won’t have to see me.. hehe..)

Oh well, ‘hope to finish these things by the end of this year so I can start the new year with a bang. Haha…

My Lasik Surgery Experience

December 8, 2008 | Filed under Adventure, Random Ramblings | 71 views

I thought of having this procedure for a long time. It took me years to decide whether to have it or not. But finally, I made up my mind.

Last week I decided to undergo an initial evaluation to determine if I’m a good candidate for the lasik surgery. I’m very nervous at that time because I’m scared I won’t be a good candidate since my eyes are so sensitive that I had 3 sore eyes in 9 months.

It was Saturday when I had the evaluation. They made a thorough eye exam for 2 hours. They briefed me of the risks and benefits of the surgery; What to expect before, during and after the surgery. I was able to watch also how the surgery will be done. My last test was done by Dr. Enrique Enriquez. After minutes of checking, Dr. Enriquez asked me when will I want to do it. I got frozen, asked him, “You mean I’m a good candidate?” He said yes! It’s like music to my ears. WooHoo! Smile

I actually want it done at that day but they said I have to schedule it in another day. So I scheduled it on Monday. I got so excited that I forgot I still have work and that I needed to file a leave of absence for a week.

After 2 days of waiting, it was time for the surgery. I asked my friend to accompany me since I cannot drive after the surgery. Read More »
